A message from the Head Teacher
Alongside the 5 daily salah within the Masjid, we provide:
- Regular Guest speakers and Bayaans
- Daily Taleem
- Zikr Majlis after Fajar Salah during Ramadhan
- Zikr Majlis every Friday after Isha Salaah
- Hafiz and student graduation ceremonies
- Tabligh Jamaat of 3 days every 2 weeks and tashkeel to Dewsbury Markaz (Local ghasht every Sunday)

Admissions
We have 7 classes in each shift for Boys and 2 classes in each shift for Girls with a total of 18 classes running each day
- There is a waiting list for both of our shifts with an approximate wait of 6 months*
- Only applicants aged 6 and over are accepted
- Applicants 10+ for girls and 13+ for boys will not be accepted
- We are NOT able to accommodate early finishing times for students and/or attending less than 5 days a week due to outside commitments
- All new applicants will be placed on a 2 week trial following a 1 to 1 report with the parents. The conclusion of the report will determine if the child has been granted a space in Madrassah at Taqwa

1st Shift – 5pm to 6:45pm
Hifz class – 5pm to 8pm
Syllabus
The Madrasah syllabus covers a wide range of subjects that are essential and directly related to the spiritual and moral development of young children.
Students through all our age groups study Gift for Muslims and A Child’s Gift. Both books cover the entire basic syllabus a child will need through their time here at Masjid at Taqwa.
Each subject is delivered in an engaging manner and are age appropriate, utilising workbooks and resources produced by leading publishers of Islamic education. The following subjects are taught at the Madrassah
- Tahfeez al Qur’an (memorisation of the Noble Qur’an; complete and/or core portions)
- Fiqh (Jurisprudence)
- Sirah (Life of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallahu Alayhi Wassalam)
- Ahadith (Sayings of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallahu Alayhi Wassalam)
- Memorisation of Ad’iyah (Supplications) from the Noble Qur’an and Ahadith
- Tarikh (Islamic History)
- Aqaid (Beliefs)
- Akhlaq (Manners)
- Aadaab (Ettiquettes)
Fees
Standard class fees amounts to 3 termly payments of £140 per student (£420 per year)
Hafiz class fees amounts to 3 termly payments of £260 per student (£780 per year)
- Fees is a fixed rate and regardless of holidays and absences, fees must still be paid in full
- We only accept direct debit which must be set on the 1st of every 4 months
